Meet the team!

Having a team with varied backgrounds is key to being able to meet our clients’ needs. Our team includes management consultants, computer scientists, solicitors, investigators and software developers. Together we create and deliver the best solutions for our clients.

Rob Crowley
Managing Director

Rob Crowley is Anexsys' Managing Director and has a background in computer forensics and eDisclosure project management from two of the big four consultancy firms. Prior to Anexsys Rob held the position of Regional Manager for EMEA at the technology and information management company Recommind.

Louise Jackson
Director

With a BSc from the University of Warwick and an MSc Distinction from the University of Westminster, Louise has worked in digital forensics and eDisclosure for over ten years. Louise oversees all technical services delivered from our Manchester base and has been responsible for the development of the company's market-leading reputation in the north of England.

Amy Duncan
Project Director

Amy is an Associate Director at Anexsys London. Amy has experience in managing large eDisclosure matters as well as Managed Services. She holds all three Brainspace certifications and Relativity Master status with hands-on exposure on analytics including Continuous Active Learning reviews. Amy's commitment and support to her clients resulted in a secondment at a top London law firm for over 6 months, covering internal eDisclosure support. Prior to joining Anexsys, Amy studied Computer Science at the University of Bath and spent an industrial placement year at an international financial services provider. Amy's technical background has allowed her to always think outside the box, working with legal teams to build custom workflows and solutions for their reviews.

Danielle Barrow
Associate Director

Danielle is an Associate Director at Anexsys Manchester. Prior to joining Anexsys, Danielle graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a first-class honour’s degree in Computer Forensics and continued to build upon her technical expertise by taking on a role in software testing before moving into the eDisclosure arena. She has extensive experience in a variety of technical disciplines and holds a variety of certifications including, RelativityOne Certified Pro, Relativity Certified User, Brainspace Analyst, Brainspace Specialist and Brainspace Admin. Danielle is an experienced project manager and leads on a variety of complex litigation disputes, utilising her expertise in both public and private sector matters to deliver excellence across the board.

Tom Sothcott
Senior Consultant

Tom is a Senior Consultant at Anexsys and holds a NUIX eDiscovery specialist certification. Prior to joining Anexsys Tom worked for Ernst & Young where he developed his eDisclosure expertise. Tom has a varied role at Anexsys carrying out infrastructure support, forensics, eDisclosure project management and custom workflow development.

Steven McAllister
Senior Consultant

Steven is a Senior Consultant and joined Anexsys in January 2019. He graduated from UCLan with a first-class honours degree in Computer Forensics. Steven provides support on our eDisclosure projects, as well as managing his own projects. He is experienced in carrying out forensic collections: with Steven’s background in forensics, he is aware of the guidelines that must be followed to ensure that any evidence collected is done so in a forensically sound manner.

Alasdair Inverarity
Senior Consultant

Ali joined the London team as a Senior Consultant in September 2021. Ali graduated in 2016 from the University of Bath with a Statistics degree, and has over 4 years’ experience in Forensic Tech, and before joining Anexsys was working as a Data Analyst at a scale-up credit card company.

Daniel Bange
Senior Consultant

Daniel is a graduate from the University of South Wales achieving a first-class honour and the Certificate of Excellence for BSc Computer Forensics. Prior to his university matriculation, he worked as a Technical Support Analyst for two major telecommunications providers.

Chris Stott
Senior Consultant

Chris is a Senior Consultant at Anexsys having joined in April 2021. He graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a degree in Forensic Computing. Prior to moving into eDiscovery, Chris worked for the police in a digital forensics capacity covering a wide variety of large and complex cases and has numerous certifications including X-ways, Cellebrite and XRY.

Edward Nelson
Senior Consultant

Edward joined Anexsys in April 2022 as a Senior Consultant. Graduating from Queens University with a Computer Science degree in 2018, he joins the team with over 4 years experience in eDiscovery, with an expertise for supporting highly complex workflows in Relativity.

Ian Van Staden
Senior Consultant

Ian is a Senior Consultant at Anexsys having joined in September 2022. Ian is an experienced investigator in Digital forensics and eDiscovery in the public and private sector. Having worked 16 years in the Police and the last 3 years in private sector. During that time, he has worked on numerous reviews, investigations and supported a number of high-profile Digital Forensics and eDiscovery projects. He has an adaptable skill set and is a proven technical problem solver. He has an MSc in Computer Forensics and Cybercrime Investigations, with numerous certificates including Data Discovery, Mobile Forensics, Mac Forensics, Training and Education.

Jamie Watterson
Consultant

Jamie joined as an eDiscovery and Digital Forensics Analyst during his University placement year studying Computer Forensics at John Moores University in Liverpool, and has since been promoted to Consultant, leading our data processing function.

Arun Varadaraj
Consultant

Arun is a Consultant at Anexsys having joined in November 2021. He graduated from Birmingham City University with a 2:1 in Digital Forensics. Prior to moving into eDiscovery, Arun worked with the Police and with Royal Mail Security carrying out digital forensic services on a variety of cases including high profile multi-million-pound fraud cases while adhering to the ISO guidelines and best practices.

Luke Barr
Consultant

Luke started at Anexsys in November 2022 as an eDiscovery consultant, coming from a primarily Digital Forensic background.
He spent three years at Lancashire constabulary before moving to West Yorkshire Police and on to Counter Terrorism.
After spending over 7 years in digital forensics Luke has made the move to eDiscovery, bringing a wealth of Knowledge and transferable skills.

Walter Kucharski
Consultant

Walter is an eDiscovery and Digital Forensics Analyst at Anexsys, having originally joined Anexsys as intern. He studied Computer Security at Liverpool John Moores University.

Thomas Bell
Consultant

Tom joined Anexsys in August 2021 as an eDiscovery and Digital Forensics Analyst for our London team, having completed a degree in Physics at Durham University a few months prior.

Rawan El-Aalem
Analyst

Rawan joined as an Analyst in January 2023. She graduated with a degree in Psychology and completed an LLM in Law and Legal Practice. With over 4 years of experience in administrative support, she has recently made the transition into the eDiscovery field.

Joe Hannant
Analyst

Joe is a Data Analyst at Anexsys having joined in August 2022. Prior to joining Anexsys Joe graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a first-class honour’s degree in Computer Forensics and Security, Joe is well versed in the study of forensics and e-discovery and is putting that knowledge to practice with Anexsys. He currently is the main processor in the Manchester office and assists on many high-profile cases.

Joe Gibbs
Analyst

Joe is an eDiscovery & Digital Forensics Analyst at Anexsys. He graduated with a 1st class Honours degree in Computer Forensics & Security and worked for a year in eDiscovery prior to joining Anexsys in January 2021. Joe carries skills in creating Relativity workflows and supporting clients, and the team with bespoke requests.

Lisa Crow
Analyst

Lisa joined Anexsys in June 2022 as an eDiscovery and Digital Forensics Analyst. Prior to transitioning to eDiscovery, Lisa graduated from the University of Manchester with a PhD in Physics, specialising in Machine Learning and Data Analysis. Lisa now works on multiple public sector inquiries and is developing a strong knowledge base in eDiscovery to provide the best service to clients.

Pauline Allioux
Finance Director

Pauline leads the finance function at Anexsys and is responsible for financial analysis, commercial support, management reporting & planning. Pauline has over 8 years’ experience in all facets of auditing, accounting & financial management in multinationals and fast-growing SMEs. Pauline started her career as a financial auditor in TMT at KPMG in Paris. She has held various Financial Controller positions during her career, working in several countries in Europe.

Barb Gaster
Office Manager

With over 16 years’ experience in customer service and management, Barb provides expert support to the finance function of the business and is responsible for streamlining our invoicing process, performing credit control checks and supporting the financial controller. Prior to joining Anexsys, Barb managed twelve colleagues at Hobs 3D where she was responsible for overseeing the life cycle of all on-site paperwork, carrying out risk assessments, invoicing and credit control together with providing support and assistance to Director level colleagues.

Sam Lockwood
Senior Developer

Sam graduated from the University of Sheffield with a degree in Computer Science, and joined Anexsys as an eDiscovery Consultant. After moving through the eDiscovery ranks, Sam decided to return to what he had studied for, and is now part of the Software team. His history in eDiscovery helps to tailor the new applications to the unique demands and use cases that exist in the industry.

Nayan Patel
Consultant

Nayan is a Consultant for the Anexsys IT Team and has been with Anexsys since 2016. He studied Computer Forensics and IT Security at London Metropolitan University. Nayan supports the Anexsys eDiscovery team, and helps monitor and manage Anexsys systems and client instances with his knowledge and experience of eDiscovery systems.
